
David's composing is recognized by awards, including a 2004 American Music Center Grant. Dr. Raiklen has composed music and sound design for theater, dance, television, cell phone , museums, concerts, documentaries and features, including Boone Style, 30,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and Special Effects, directed by Ben Burtt. He's also scoring a groundbreaking video game.
David Raiklen compositions have been performed at the Hollywood Bowl and the first Disney Hall. David is host of a successful radio program, Classical Fan Club, where guests include Joshua Bell and John Williams.
Current projects include a thrilling revelation of the soviet space program, The Secret Life of Gagarin, featuring Elliott Gould. He is scoring the feature debut of teen director Anne-Sophie Dutoit, Faded Memories.
